Born and bred in H.K., Mr. Sousa speaks fluent English and Cantonese. He mainly practices as a litigator, having been involved in a wide variety of cases concerning commercial, civil, family and criminal litigation cases and arbitration disputes.

Mr. Sousa oversees the firm’s litigation team, and appears as an advocate to conduct criminal trials (both for defendants and the prosecution), and on behalf of clients in a variety of civil and family litigation matters. He has acted for clients at all levels of Courts in Hong Kong, ranging from the Magistrates’ Courts, all the way up to the Court of Final Appeal, as well as Coroner’s Court proceedings, Lands Tribunal cases and disciplinary tribunal matters.
